I have been a member of the National Charity League for 8 years. National Charity League (NCL) is a philanthropic organization of mothers and daughters. By working with other mothers and daughters, we contribute to various non-profit organizations by donating around three million hours annually to over 6,000 charities in the United States. By contributing to many philanthropy's my personal favorites are Harbor House, Shelter Hope, Ruben Castro, High Street Theater, and Red Cross. I love protecting our human welfare as well as strengthening my relationship with my mother and being allowed to meet other confident young women. Being in the National Charity League has been an amazing experience for my growth in leadership, and confidence, providing in-depth support to local communities, and inspiring legacy self-awareness. My proudest accomplishment is receiving the Presidential award for volunteering 50 + hours to my community and to many local organizations in the United States. It is an extreme honor to receive this award by being proud of myself through my dedication and compassion to communities who are less fortunate as well as making a difference in someone's life to better their environment and health. As also involved with NCL, I am a member of my National Honor Society as a testimony to my academic achievement and dedication to excellence and helping others grow in their education by reviewing as a tutor. I value and enjoy being a tutor and helping students achieve in their academics.
